Monday Blues....

The weekend felt good and I was more relaxed than previous weekends......I thought I was getting more used to work but somehow, waking up this morning I have my doubts about myself all over again......
Faced with a cross road of sorts looking to where I should be going with this job......the challenges weren't what I had expected and are mounting up.....feeling terrible about the things I need to do.....Probably because I do not have full ownership of a project that I am consciously handling myself which will make me feel more responsible of the outcomes......

Another crossroad came about where I need to think about my resume outlook.....I look like a rojak in the making...not knowing where I am headed.....Went into various industries that just happened to offer me the job.......but on a long term view I still do not know where they are headed.....Yes, I am in work now, in an agency but somehow I don't feel up to it right now.....refer para above.....

Furthermore, some job offers pertaining to my previous industries which I am familiar with have recently came up.....1 from logistics and the other from banking......I referred joey into the finance job but myself feel tempted to join him to......and yet the full outcome of that decision is also in my mind......that there are targets and it will not be a long term solution to anything but yet at the same time, this feels like what I was made out to do.....

In the process of all these turmoils, I have also talked to my mom and she has mentioned the situation....that at least this is a 5 working day job (but there is also the hidden implication that I have to work late and be on my toes the whole time)......and i don't have the stress of meeting targets every month....so in a sense i won't be out of job......

I guess I really need to set my mind on something and just go for it.......in the meantime......i will go for my smoke break.....hahhaha

Project Z33

Been thinking about this colour combination on a car for quite awhile and didn't know which body to do it on.....but on a last minute decision, decided to do this paint job on a Fairlady Z33.....it had the right textures and detailing particular to this HPI Mold.....it accentuates different lines and details on the body......

It shows the job from the middle of the process onwards.....the base colour had oredi been put on.....quite a bit of cock-ups and I intend to learn from it.....

Cock ups!!! (Learn from them you FOOL!!!!!!!)

1) Never use medicated oil to remove sticker marks...they leave a white residue that sticks to the plastic

2) Get a drill to make the post holes.....Use the right tool for the right job...

3) Mark the post holes properly....still have not learnt to do that properly......got to learn it soon...

4) Remember to give it a final wash before even starting to spray!!! Had dried water marks from sticking on the stickers process

5) Make sure all rough work aka filing / reaming / screwing / cutting are done before the wash

Been thinking....maybe I can do a sideline doing RC Body paint jobs.....won't earn much though....and it hell won't beat my day job!

I will be starting my new job at Band tomorrow.....and according to my Director.....I am jumping into a project straightaway.....

Funny feeling I am getting....excitement and fear....its like taking a roller coaster ride....

Went on a long drive the other day and ended up at changi village....from a normal evening it turned dramatically for the better.....

Founf out that von really love bubbles....bought a bottle of bubbles and started terrorising the cats around....they were at first curious...."Curiosity kills the cat" and than easily frightened when the bubbles burst on them...."Scaredy cat".....hahahaha

but we founf this cat that should be the mascot for F&N......it purely depicted the ad....hahahaha

4) 1 bottle of Premixed Sangria for $18.24

5) Was just outside Cafe Del Mar enjoying the food, drinks and music

My New Hobby....

Since I graduated about 3 years ago, me and my friends have all along wanted to go into RC Drifting....(can't afford real one so go for the minature version lor).....but it has been really fun and the hobby is growing on other people as well so much so that a few of them are contemplating joining in....hahahaha....and they somewhat share the same passion....
Well....the deal last time was to get the car after I have received my first paycheck......but turns out I got so busy and focused I forgot out all about it until recently.....AhPui was the one that constantly talked about it but never wanted to go into it alone.....
It started when i found something similar at Mustafa one late night and was really excited about it because I thought that is the cheap alternative to what we wanted and got it......but at the same time found out that it just does not suffice the "Tamiya" option.....

Having started it oredi, it does give us alot of nostalgia to our old days iin Potong Pasir where we all started haveing mini Tamiyas to race with.....the shop even provided a track for us to fool around with.....and the upgradable options are all so sweet......but so much more fun now because this is a bigger and more complexed car and we got to start thinking in terms of the real sized cars......

Presently have a wish list of upgrades that would make my ride smoother......just waiting until i get my next job before spending more.....the fun beats spending loads of money clubbing and drinking for me right now.....considering that for my capacity and seasoned drinking, it takes so much more which means more money for myself to even feel the right appropriate kick....
